Congratulations! You have been selected by your fellow scouts to be a candidate in Scouting’s
National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow. You are now eligible to take upon yourself
the induction of the Ordeal and start your journey in the Order of the Arrow.
Please read through this page in its entirety so that you can be completely prepared for your ordeal.
Your 2025 Induction Weekend Dates
December 12-14 Sid Richardson (tentatively)
The cost for the induction weekend will be $65.00 which includes an Order of the
Arrow Sash, OA Handbook, Lodge Flap, Lodge Dues for 2025, and food.
- BSA Medical Form (Part A&B)
- Complete Boy Scout Uniform
- Tent for Saturday night (optional)

- Sleeping Pad
- Ground Cloth/Tarp

- Toiletries/Medications
- Change of clean clothes

Arrival At Your Induction
Check-in will start at 7:00 pm. All candidates must arrive in full Field (Class A) uniform and must be at their registered Ordeal no later than 9:00 pm Friday. Dinner will not be served, please eat before you arrive in camp.
Departing Your Induction
The Induction will end Sunday morning around 9:30 am. Make arrangements to leave camp at this time. If you have a parent or guardian driving in on Sunday to pick you up, they need to arrive by 9:30 a.m.
You must remain at the Induction until dismissal Sunday morning to receive your membership card and lodge pocket flap.
We understand that some Scouts’ religious observances or other extenuating circumstances preclude them from staying through Sunday morning, and we fully support those convictions.
Permission for an earlier departure time must be obtained in advance, and can only be granted by our Associate Lodge Adviser of Inductions. Should you believe you qualify for an early departure please contact us .
